Ten of Wands

ten of wands

Arms full of sticks. You're carrying too much, and some of it isn't even yours.

Upright Ten of Wands

The Ten of Wands is the burden carried too long. A figure stoops under ten wands, almost at the destination but barely able to walk. The Ten is the card of overwhelm in the home stretch.

Drawing this card often signals you've taken on too much. The work needs to get to the finish, and not all of it needs to be yours. The Ten asks: what can be put down?

What can be put down?

Reversed Ten of Wands

Reversed, the Ten of Wands is the moment of relief: burdens being released, asks being delegated, the weight finally distributed. It can also mean you've finally said no to something you've been carrying for too long.

It can also indicate continuing to take on more even when you know you shouldn't. The Ten reversed asks who you're trying to be by carrying everything.
