three of swords
Heart, three swords, rain on the window. It hurts. That's the whole card. Let it.
Upright Three of Swords
The Three of Swords is the heartbreak card: three swords through a heart, rain falling behind it. It is the cleanest possible drawing of grief. The card does not soften the pain. It just holds it honestly.
Drawing this card often signals a recent or current heartbreak: a loss, a betrayal, a goodbye. The Three asks you to feel it through, not around.
Feel it through, not around.
Reversed Three of Swords
Reversed, the Three of Swords is the heart starting to heal: the swords being removed, the rain easing. It can also mean accepting that the heartbreak happened and that you survived it.
It can also point to bottled grief that's quietly poisoning everything else. The Three reversed asks you to let it out, even if just to one trusted person.
