Six of Pentacles

Six of Pentacles

Suit of Pentacles

The scale wants to balance.

The Six of Pentacles is the card of generosity, gratitude, and the just exchange. A figure weighs gold on a scale and gives to those in need. The Six is the moment of giving freely or receiving openly. Both are practices.

Upright

Drawing this card often signals a moment of balance between resources offered and resources received. The Six asks you to participate honestly in both directions.

Reversed

Reversed, the Six of Pentacles is imbalanced giving: strings attached, debts unpaid, exchanges that aren't actually fair. The card reversed asks where the relationship has gone lopsided.

It can also indicate stinginess, or a difficulty receiving. The Six reversed asks where you're closed when you could be open.
