Seven of Cups
Suit of Cups
Most of the cups are fog.
The Seven of Cups is the card of choices, imagination, and the tricky abundance of options. Seven cups float in front of you, each holding a different vision: wealth, love, fame, fantasy. The Seven asks you to look closely. Some of those cups are dreams. Some are traps.
Upright
- Choices
- Illusion
- Fantasy
- Wishful thinking
Drawing this card often means you're at a moment of choice with too many possibilities and not enough clarity. The Seven warns against magical thinking. Wishing alone won't land it.
Reversed
- Clarity
- Decision
- Reality check
Reversed, the Seven of Cups is clarity emerging. The fog is lifting. The real options are separating themselves from the fantasies, and you can start to see which is which.
It can also point to overwhelm fading. You've narrowed the field and you can finally pick. The Seven reversed says: now, choose.
