The Knight of Wands is the card of momentum. Of someone who has decided to move, fast, often before they've fully figured out where they're going. There's heat in it, and risk, and a lot of forward.
Drawing this card often signals an adventurer's energy showing up in you or in your life. The Knight asks: is the speed toward something you actually want, or away from something you don't want to look at?
Is it toward what you want, or away from what you don't want to look at?
Reversed Knight of Wands
Reversed, the Knight of Wands is reckless action: moving fast without thinking, or moving fast on the wrong thing. The card reversed asks you to slow down for one breath before the next step.
It can also indicate stalled momentum, the impulse fizzling. The Knight reversed asks whether the fire actually went out, or whether you stopped feeding it.
